CLEVELAND, June 22, 2015 – Cleveland’s Plan for Transforming Schools, launched three years ago by civic leaders, is beginning to have a positive impact on education in the city’s district and charter schools, according to a new report by the Cleveland Transformation Alliance.

“The investment of time and energy we’ve seen over the past few years has created unprecedented opportunities to improve public education in Cleveland, and we are taking huge steps in the right direction,” said Cleveland Mayor Frank G. Jackson, chair of the Alliance Board of Directors. “But much remains to be done if we are to truly transform education in our city.”
